Well, this review by The New York Times might be of interest to you, completely outside of my ramblings; it sums up my impression of the movie itself pretty well. – Which is, it’s overlong and pompous, but not as bad as other big budget movies I have watched. (And, FTR, if you haven’t seen it yet, go watch The Hobbit! It’s beautiful!)
